This gun has everything I look for in a gun. It''''s unique and you don''''t see them at the gun range, ever. It''''s solid. You could use it as a baseball bat and it probably wouldn''''t put a scratch on it. It shoots 9mm ammo, which means the ammo is cheaper and I can shoot it at the pistol range or the rifle range. The clips look old and abused, but work perfectly and the springs feel nice and broken in. Not too strong, not too weak. Feeding the magazine by hand is simple and painless. Same with the bolt - pulling it back doesn''''t require bracing the gun ]unlike my KelTec Sub2k, which needs a magazine loaded and almost three hands to pull the bolt back[. The magazines hold about 34 rounds each, but because it includes two nagazines, I typically load 25 rounds in each magazine and that''''s one full box of ammo. The trigger is neither hard or soft.. its just perfect. Line up your shot and the bullet goes right where you want it, over and over and over again. Because it weighs about 9lbs, there is very little felt recoil ]compared with my KelTec Sub2k, which also shoots 9mm but kicks like a three-legged ninja![. The way the stock unfolds and refolds is a bit clumsy, but when its locked in place its as solid as the rest of the gun. The stock will not unfold while shooting ]if you choose to shoot it that way[ and it won''''t ever collapse on you while shooting with it unfolded. For me, it the perfect gun - I can''''t find a thing about it to not like. Even the price is a bargain! And you''''re buying a piece of British history!
And the best part of it all is this was the gun used by the StormTroopers in the original Star Wars movie. I''''m so impressed with this Type 1 that I have just ordered the Type 2.
