I believe You can , as long as it is not coalsneed .. If the Man stops You, and asks if You have any weapon in the vehicle , and they may be wrapped up in a blanket , You say yes , there are two ,wrapped up in the blanket in the back seat .. And if You have two more in the trunk , You say I also have two wrapped in the trunck ..I belive they must be unloaded though.. As well , If You have a pistol in the front seat with You , the clip can be loaded , but I believe that the clip must be out of it , Of course there may be two types of permits , for the pistol carriour , such as for security ,or according to reason , or need .. MIssouri Code .. Again it may vary , state to state .. Some may even require a lock .. If You will be traveling accross the states , one would want to check with the State Troopers on the Law , They may give You a permit to keep on You to show each state , if needed , or stopped .. No one likes to be detained over a rifle they got off of grandpa , and then A record shows it as stolen in 1932 from Mr:Magoo !! , that grandpops bought of a yard sell in 1968 ..
