Just completed a 3 day Glock Instructor Transition course. We are changing from the Beretta 96G ]40 cal.[ to the Glock 37 ]45 GAP[as the Department issued weapon. My agency changes weapons about every 7 - 9 years and we all carry the samed issued weapons. Our class of 22 instructors did quite well having never touched the weapon before. I did not notice any significant change in recoil, but I did notice much more consistancy in shot groups. We fired approx 500 round each on the range - no issues other than some shooters getting used to seating the magazines firmly in the well. I really appreciate the ability to attach a light directly on the weapon. All in all I am pleased with the Model 37.

this is amazing.. its perfect for shooters of all sizes. just like glock says it is easy recoil and has the full knock down power of a 230gr .45 load I tested both my model 19 9mm and the new model 37 and they had very similar recoil and grouping size

I SHOT MY FIRST GLOCK 37 45 GAP AT THE 2007 GREAT OUTDOOR FESTIVAL IN OSHKOSH WISC.I AM A BIG FAN OF THE 40S/W,I WAS SURPRISE AND GLAD I SHOT IT.MANY WOULD ARGUE THAT IS A WANNABE 45 ACP. BUT I WENT THROUGH 3 CLIPS AND ADMITTED THAT I WOULD HAVE ONE.FINE GUN.ALSO DURING THE 2009 AMMO SHORTAGE THE 45 GAP WAS WIDELY AVAILABLE.ONLY COMPLAINT:WHEN ARE THEY GOING TO MAKE A LARGER MAG THAN ONLY TEN ROUNDS?
