i`ve owned every kind of handgun available throughout my 12 years as a police officer and i`ve never owned one that performed like a glock! very dependable!! ive seen them dropped,buried in sand,dropped in water,shot under water,ran over with a big truck,and i could go on at the abuse this weapon has endured and never misfired and never jammed!!the academy i graduated from has had one now for over 20 years and it has never been cleaned and has been shot 200 every time there is a class and it has never jammed or misfired. they vow to never clean it, until it does! GREAT HANDGUN!

You can not go wrong with a G17. I''ve had mine for over 10 years, and it has been my nightstand gun, range gun and hip - worn hiking gun for all that time. I am a fan of DAO pistols for defence purposes, and although it is too large for CC, it is perfect for about anything else. I have some very minor wear on the finish from lots of holster time and an embarrasing rainy day drop on the rocks, but this thing will function in all conditions with only a minimum of maintenance,with all ammo I''ve tried.

I just got my Glock 17 a month ago and was very pleased. Very accurate and easy to shoot. No problems with it at all. Delivery was prompt and everything was perfect. I would recommend this gun and this site to anyone looking for a great gun. I have my eye on a Glock 30 next.

I have found that my Glock 17 is extremely accurate. It shoots better than my S&W 4003 ]40 cal[ and my Kimber SIS ]45 cal[. Although the Glock is just a 9mm it is more accurate ]less recoil[ and easily stays on target at 25, 15, and 7 yards. Although too large for my tastes regarding concealed carry, it remains my favorite range pistol. Buy a Glock and shoot it a lot...

glock 17 is a excellent plinking and range gun. This gun workes just fine right out of the box. I have taken mine to the range two times so far, have shot 150 rounds with no problems, and the gun is very accurate. I also have a Glock 22 40cal, Love both of these guns.

Excellent performance!!! Easy to use, and accurate. Point and shoot thats all it takes. Extremely good for beginning shooters, but still nice enough for the experienced. Just about medium power, perfect for target shooting at the range. Hardly any recoil at all, if you are still worried about recoil order the compensated model and say good-bye to any and all recoil.
Very well built, the one i used had several thousand rounds through it and it still fired over 500 rounds in a row and didn't malfunction once.

I just purchased this model to use as my carry weapon and I must say that I am totally pleased. I would shoot this over my .45 any day.
Everything from clean shooting to a lack of strong recoil puts this pistol at the top of the list!

Excellent pistol, feels good and fits well in your hand. Pretty darn accurate for an old geezer! Had a few initial ejection mishaps attributed to new gun syndrome and 115 Gr Target Ammo, but only 4 or 5 per gun. 2nd Glock pistol ordered from TopGlock, a 19C 9MM, and a 17 9MM. TopGlock''s gun prices appear to be hard to beat! Orders are shipped promptly! Arrive in very short order with every thing in perfect condition! Also ordered a Blackhawk Holster and found TopGlocks price $15.00 below gun shop where I shoot! All in all, great deal, great service! Highly recommended!

I purchased this gun a while back. I took it to the range and almost instantly fell in love. It shoots great, and I''ve never had any mis-fires. It is very easy to clean due to its simple design. It has a 17 +1 in the chamber capacity. I absolutely love it. I reccomend a Glock 17 to anyone who wants a great 9mm for shooting or even self defense. Now, I''m just waiting for my 33round glock magazine to come in the mail so I can have even more fun with this gun.

I have two Glock pistols, a model 22, 40 cal and now a model 17, 9mm.
Both of these pistols are Excellent pistols. I took the Glock 17 to the range today for the first time. I shoot 100 rounds of Winchester 115Gr FMJ, with no problems at all, the pistol operated good right out of the box.
This is a very good pistol and it is fun to shoot.

I would recommend this weapon to anyone and everyone. After a great deal of research and discussion I feel this pistol is the best bang for the buck you can buy. It's easy to clean and shoot and always fires. The durability is off the charts. It's a little bulky for carry during the summer, but then again that's why glock made the 26. 1000+ rounds and not a single malfunction.

Good weight and balance, with good mating between slide and receiver. Accurate out of the box with 2.5 inch groups at 25 feet with hand rest. A very well built and put together weapon.

Have a used Glock 17. Have fired it only a couple times at the range, but it's easy to shoot once you get used to it. That only takes about 500 shots at the range. Not much recoil, mine is a 1993 model, so it doesn't have a tac rail, but its in brand new condition. It fires every time, even with the cheap stuff.

THIS IS THE BEST GUN I HAVE OWNED NEVER HAD ONE PROBLEM AT ALL I DID NOT CLEAN THIS GUN FOR 3 MONTHS JUST TO SEE WHAT WOULD HAPPEN OVER A 1000nd ROUNDS WITH NO CLEANING AND THEN I SHOT IT UNDER WATER IN A SWIMMING POOL AND IT SHOT BY THE WAY AND NO PROBLEMS THIS GUN IS FANTASTIC!!!!!
