The Glock is an awesome pistol. hard to believe, but you can make it better. I had a 3.5# connector, extended slide and magazine levers and new night sights and steel recoil guide bar. made an awesome pistol even better!! to clean and field strip is just so unbelievably easy. light, and a great carry weapon. not as heavy as other pistols, and I constantly forget it is on my hip.

Great Gun. Great size. Love the fact that I can get 15 rounds in such a nice sized package. Never misfires or jams. Super easy to clean and get back in action. Next buy Laser Max rod laser.

An absolute modern marvel! This pistol was everything I imagined and more; very lightweight, very high magazine capacity while packing a very strong punch. Everyone should at least try a Glock when shopping for a pistol (especially the Model 23).

Loved my model 23, then got issued an HK LEM. Sold my Glock but now am buying another one. There's nothing like a Glock for all-around confidence in your weapon. HKs are great, but for me the little 23 has it all hands down.

i own 3 glocks, model 19, 22, and 21. i'm considering trading in my glock 22 for a glock 23 (compact). my full size glocks are big guns, harder to conceal, but this compact 40 is excellent, small, but more effective than a 9mm or a 38 revolver. if you want to carry concealed, buy a compact glock, either 40 cal or 45 acp, don't make the same mistake i made, LOL!!

The weapon is very finely made. It is durable and reliable. Look at the Non-Glock torture tests for proof. It is the right size for CCW, sustained marksmenship practice and just fun shooting. .40 is a really hot round. It is quite accurate and will reach out to long distances and still do the job. I love 9 M/M, but .40 in the M-23 offers more for the civilian or LE person. An excellent choice.

The Glock 23 is an excellent choice for both versatility and concealability. Glocks are the epitome of simplicity as far as breakdown and cleaning which is a major plus. I have only had mine for a few weeks but have fired several hundred rounds with no problems whatsoever. Also, as a retired law enforcement officer, my duty issue weapons was a Glock. I carried one both on and off duty for 20 years without a single malfunction other simulated stovepipes and jams during annual qualification. I would highly recommend the 23 to anyone looking for something in a good caliber that is extremedly functional for just about any use.

Glock is the best bang for your buck. No pun intended. If you want reliability at an unbeatable price than look no further. The Glock 23 is light weight yet powerful enough to knock down any size attacker aiming center mass (using .40 cal hollow points). The Glock 23 is a perfect balance between caliber and pistol size. Fully loaded with 13 rounds it feels well balanced and stable in my hands. I have shot several thousand rounds through mine without a hitch. I do sleep better at night knowing that it is by my side. I feel 100% confident that when I need it it will go bang for me.

I love my Glock 23 I have shot it over and over with it never jamming or given me any problem. As a employee in public saftey I feel safe with having a Glock 23 as my secondary. Breaking the pistol down and cleaning it could not be eaiser. I recommend it to anybody needing a great shooting pistol and for personal protection. Glock has out done themselves with the model 23.

For months I was trying to figure out what handgun i wanted to buy. I shot many different types of handguns and calibers. The day after i shot the glock 23 i turned in my pistol purchase permit and once i get that back im going straight the the gun shop and picking me up one of these awsome weapons along with a couple hundred rounds because this is a fun fire arm to shoot.

Great gun, accurate, powereful, easy maintenance, good concealed weapon, with Truglo nightsights even better and if you want to convert to a 9mm Barsto barrels will help you out with that. If you choose you can even use the 15 round clip from the G-22.

Two years ago my wife was getting ready to renew her CHL and was shooting her puney Colt Govt. 380... I talked her in to going to look at a Glock, as I thought it would be an easier girl gun for her. She bought a new Glock 23 and loves shooting it. She shoots defensive courses with it and is very pleased with the operation and reliability. Sooo, a friend of hers wants to learn to shoot. Deathly afraid of guns all her life, she goes with us to the range. She picks up my 1911 and looks at it like it''s got a a disease. Then she picks up the G23, and starts shooting x''s. I worked with her for a couple of hours on stance, etc. then we walked out to the gunstore show room and she bought her own G23... she''s hooked and I believe in no small part thanks to the ease and reliability of Glock ]and my excellant training:[[ Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a new shooter!

My latest pistol is a glock 23. It is by far the best of the nine handguns I own. I am 6''1 and weigh around 212lbs, and this gun fits my hands perfect. It has some snap to it due to its light weight but is a serious shooter...
My other semi auto guns are: 1911 45 cal military, 1911 45 cal Combat Commander, Para Tac Four 45 cal, Browning Hi Power 9mm military , S/W 4006 40 cal.

this is one of the best pistols i have owned. i took it to qualify for my concelleded weapons permit and then for my state of mississippi/nra instructional course. i was hitting targets standing at 32 yards. never thought i could hit that far with a smaller pistol. but i love it and use it for my carry concellement weapon. i also have a glock 45/model 36. i love both of them and sometime swap out for carrying. thank you for a fine weapon.

I own a variety of handguns, from 380 to 44 mag. I also have a Glock 30, .45 ACP, however the model 23 is my favorite and choice to carry especially in the winter with easy concealment. This is a nail driver. I also have a S&W Sigma 40, recommend going the extra bucks for the Glock. The Sigma is not a nail driver because of the trigger pull. Love both Glocks, but the G23 the most. Highly recommend.

Since firing the Glock 23 I really enjoy the light weight compared to a heavier pistol such as the M1911. The only complaint that I have is right now none. It may be me just getting used to a lighter weapon - used to a S&W mod 10 or the rear sight may be off; time will tell. Overall the weapon is the best I have ever fired and I would definitely highly recommend a Glock to anyone.
