Hands down the best AR-15 i have ever shot!! I'm in the military so i have shot quite a few different AR-15s/M-4s. This rifle is worth every penny!!! Smooth operation, well-built, light weight, accuarte and jam free!! I could go on and on.

just bought this same rifle 1 month ago, my previous AR-15 was manufactured by olympic arms. going from the olympic to the S&W was like night and day. i had to buy a new bolt, barrel and many internal workings for the olympic arms AR. nothing i did seemed to keep the olympic from jamming up. needless to say the olympic arms rifle had me a bit shady when it came to AR-15 style rifles. when i first fired the S&W AR i was in utter shock. the rifle is so smooth when fired. i've ran nearly 500 rounds through the rifle without any complaints of any kind. i love this rifle. in fact for christmas i bought my dad the exact one i have. we haven't missed a day firing our new rifles since christmas. all around amazing and unbelievable rifle. recommend anyone who is interested in AR style rifles to take a look at the S&W.

I''m very happy with the quality of this rifle. Took it to the range and had it dialed in for 50 and 100 yrds within an hour. The factory bore sighting got you on paper, but it still needed some fine tuning. The trigger is very smooth and is lighter than some others I''ve shot. Action is very good and the recoil was lighter than expected. I was using 223 55 grain. Each components'' quality was very good. I compared the SW to the Stag and the CMMG. Both were heavier than the Smith and had a heavier trigger weight. The three gun pro''s I spoke with all recommended the Smith over the CMMG and Stag. The standard sights were pretty decent and I don''t think I''ll upgrade these anytime soon. The guys at AR15PRO gave me an excellent price and although we had a mix up with the shipping, Dan in Customer Service did a fantastic job in getting everything straighted away. I''d order from these guys again.

Smith&Wesson AR 15 Standard

I purchased this rifle a couple weeks ago, have put over 200rds thru it, and I have no complants. I do wish I had bought one years ago. I have many guns but this one is by far the funest of them to shoot. If you are looking to buy an AR your going to want too look at Smith & Wessons I dont think you''ll be disapointed.

Grerat AR

I just bought one and wow, after years in the army shooting loose and shabby Ar''s this was beyond GREAT. accurate and very easy to shoot. I will agree it has a very cheap case but I do not plan on keeping it in the case. My magazine was average but not bad or cheap. I would easily give this weapon 5 stars. I have shot different manufactures and this is one if not the best. I was leary buying a S&W since they are not known for AR''s but not dissapointed at all. I have fired well over 1,000 rds and have never had a jam. smooth firing all the time every time. My wife even loves to shoot it as well as my son, both were nervous at first but now they bug me to go shoot. I love it.

M&P AR15

What a great gun. Is just like the mil-spec weapon I used in the military for 20 years, but better. Stadard with a removeable handle allowing numerous personal configurations. I removed the handle and installed a Troy Industries rear fold down BUIS, and an Aimpoin Comp3ML Red Dot sight set up for co-witness. I also added a quad rail to replace the standard forearm grip. I have fired almost a 1000 rds without a single malfunction. The tele stock allows for a nice tight close feel. I also recomend getting the Condor 36 soft gun case as a great accessory for carrying all your gear to the range. S&W also offered a great deal with a $100 mail in rebate when I bought it...sweet deal!

I own the m&p 15t. After my dept shot my rifle, we ordered 12 for our reformed tactical team. This is the best AR I have fired in a long time and I come from the Vietnam era.

Good plain, commercial grade carbine. Average (as in expected / normal) fit and finish. Nice folding rear sight. Comes with a flimsy plastic case. 30 rd magazine S&W is including with all its rifles is beyond cheap (at least as of the time of this writing). Over-all, for the price it is a good buy, comparable to your typical DPMS or Bushmaster.
